L’Ecole de photographie Studio Grava investit aussi le chouk Apichpichim de Yaffo a l’occasion de son exposition de fin d’annee. Le chouk est definitivement devenu ‘The Place To Be’!!! Des oeuvres et des artistes des plus passionnants y sont representes mais ce qui nous arrete particulierement c’est la maniere dont a ete agence ce hangar. Des dizaines de rouleaux de cellophane ont ete utilises et tendus, reliant chacun des pilones, pour suspendre les oeuvres aux ‘murs’. Juste aerien et delirant!!!

The ‘Studio Grava’ Photo school has also invested itself in the Jaffa Shuk Apishpishim for the students’ year’s end expo. The shuk has definitely become “The hot spot”!!! The most fascinating artists expose their work but what strikes us the most is the way the hangar has been set up. Dozens of cellophane rolls have been stretched, connecting pillars to one another, used to hang the art pieces to these ‘walls’. So airy and mad!!!

Semaine chargee… Les nuits mondaines a TLV ne sont pas fréquentes mais quand elles se passent tout le monde accoure! Actrices, photographes de renom, It girls, du beau monde quoi! On remercie Shira Dolinger,d’origine  israélienne, qui apres avoir passe 9 ans a NY, nous en ramène un pti bout a TLV. Elle ouvre sa première boutique au Sud de Tel Aviv, au Kibboutz Galouyot; Verner nous offre enfin l’opportunité de nous ruiner en craquant sur les divines créations d’Alexander Wang, Phillip Lim, Tsubi et Acne; pour la première fois distribués en Israel.  Dur d’être restés si longtemps isolés de nos Essentiels!!! La sélection des modèles n’est évidemment pas la même que chez Sacks mais plein d’accessoires viennent compléter le tout. Je craque particulièrement pour les ptits ‘Bibis’ travaillés…

Busy week…Celebrity parties in TLV are not so frequent, but when they happen, everyone is at the meeting! Actresses, renowned photographers, It girls, a beautiful crowd! We thank Shira Dolinger, israeli, who after spending 9 years in NYC, brings little bits back to TLV. First shop opening for her in Tel Aviv, down south on Kibbutz Galuyot; Verner finally gives us the opportunity to blow our credit cards on the amazing creatins of Alexander Wang, Phillip Lim, Tsubi and Acne; All for the first time to be distributed in Israel.  It’s been so hard staying away from our essentials!! The product selection is obviously not the same one found at Sacks but so many accessories come in to play to complete the range. I’m especially fond of the beautiful “bibis”…

On ne compte plus le nombre de bars, de boites, d’After a TLV mais le dernier nait de la scène nocturne, plus qu’en ébullition a TLV, mérite qu’on s’y arrête. Le 12 Rotchild  c’est avant tout une viellie et surtout sublime bâtisse, en ruine depuis des lustres; aujourd’hui les propriétaires de la Brasserie en font un bar hyper pointu, avec au menu tapas de crevettes et carpacios, accompagnés chaque soir de différents Happening Rock, Jazz. C’est le ‘Rough Luxe’ hôtel de Londres en bar, juste tout ce que j’aime!!!!! Vous savez maintenant ou me trouver!!

The numbers of Bars, Clubs, After Parties in Tel Aviv is countless but this new addition to the scene, hotter than ever in TLV, deserves a visit. the “12 Rotschild” is first and foremost an old and sublime house, left to wither to ruins for years; But now the owners of ” La Brasserie” turned it into the hypest bar, with tapas of shrimps and carpaccios menu, along with a daily evening with various Rock and Jazz appearances. It’s the bar version of the “Rough Luxe” hotel in London, just what I live!! You now know where to find me!!
